Mining for Corpses

Steve stopped to catch his breath. The sound of moaning was heard off in the distance. They were approaching and fast. He continued running. It had never been this hard before, it seemed that life was always set on easy. It was always go out, get what you needed and get back in before sunset. But now they have learned to open doors. Now they broke into his house and declared it as there territory. Now he must run until he found somewhere safe. But no where was safe. It was only a matter of time before daylight came and this nightmare would be washed away, but for now he must run. Run or become one of them.
