Photoshop

Yeah. I used Photoshop in ITGS, which made me look at the year-old Photoshop Elements on my computer.

I just made some things. Here they are.

Abat.
Eyabat.
Shada.
Eshada.

More later... once I think of something to do...

The last was my fav, not sure as to why. They are all pretty interesting. Hmm...I've never used elements, is it any good? I'm using gimp right now (Mainly because it's free, and has the best functionality I've found for that price)

I personally like the third one a bit more than the others.

As to your question... from a quick reading, it looks like Gimp is an advanced version of paint. Very quick reading, mind you.

The main thing that makes Photoshop useful is the amount of tools. You can render clouds and colorize them to look like smoke over a red-hot fire. You can also make layers- for example, in the last one, I could remove the layer that had the gold, the one that had the static, and the black border to get some random purple face on a black background. You can also toy around with adding affects only to certain layers... the possibilities are infinite.

Cloud, do you want photoshop? I could pirate it for you.

Lol, that was pretty amazing, though I think the lens flair like effect at the hilt didn't quite fit. Gimp can do a lot of what you just mentioned. I can render and colorize, add layers, and effects, and different filters, it has a lot of the same things. Ethan if you could "get me" Something like adobe photoshop cs2 It would really appreciate it.

Yeah, I don't really know anything about it. Photoshop's just traditional :p

Yeah, the flare... I was trying to simulate something like on the DVD case covers, but it was more sunburst than ring of light. It did hide, however, the ugly transition I had at the hilt, so I kept it.

I also discovered a neat effect on accident, so...

Debt, that is my new wallpaper.

As for you Cloud, ill get on it.

Update:

I found it, only 800 meg. Photoshop 4C or something like that, I guess its the newest one.

Its not terribly big, I should have an accurate time prediction by tomorrow.
