Wow, my poems are changing a bit toward a more happy tone.

As I look to the sky I see only your face,
I hear your name in the wind.
I have such emotion bulding in this place,
I don't know where to begin.

I took off the mask I hid behind for such time,
and let the sun again touch my tender skin.
And with so much wartmh in this place I feel sublime,
Embrassing all the feeling deep within.

And now with words pressed tight,
pushing on the back of my lips.
All this feels so very right,
As my heart comes through it's eclipse.

So with feel of losing what not even yet mind,
I look to the future still feeling some fear.
I'm still looking for the courage I need to find,
To ask you to forever stay near.

Just know Such feeling lay at rest,
holding you as close as I can.
Until the time when I find courage to attest,
The feelings I hold from when this began.

Please I ask you to understand how hard this is for me,
With fear still clouding my eyes,
Holding me tight, making it hard to see,
What on this path ahead lies.

But I promise your light is breaking away,
more of this darkness and pain.
pulling me closer to you every day,
These feelings are hard to contain.

Just hold faith in me, it won't be long,
before my feelings for you I confess,
I feel deep down inside we belong,
As my emotions yet transgress.

Maby you have just run out of sad things to say, being depressed is hard work.

Something I noticed about your "happy" poems is that they're not all happy in a true sense. They're more of a release from anguish, despair, or something similar. They're about change.

The character is/characters are never in a good situation: they're coming out a situation that is hellish to them, and have not fully recovered. Most interesting (:p).

Hense the changing a bit toward happiness. I said notghing about them being entirely happy, but it's a major turn from my normal strife filled, dark creations. Trust me Ethan, I can still write about sad things if I want to, I would never run out of material on that area. I'm just trying to break away from my normal somewhat morbid couplet poems.

Lol, no , not really putting all that much effort. Putting forth effort for an idea, then letting the rest come naturally like any other poem.
