A Poet's Ramblings.

I hope this is okay. From time to time in this thread I'll be posting random things, paragraphs, poems, limericks, etc. They're just my personal ramblings, Feel free to post in it if you have something relatively intelligent to say and wish to vent.

When the sun sets sail on a fateful night
it is then that I feel the closure of my mind.
The snip snap shop of a closed curtain
the finale run awry.
Oh how woeful it would be
to be a paying customer to such a horrendous feat.
Is it even worth it?
To step into said door.
To let one's heart wander open across the floor.
to zip across the beautiful ballroom.
Oh what a creature of habit I have become.
Oh what a terrifically horrid spirit I am.
Hahah.
What woeful saint has cast his evil eye at me?
I care not to linger on the thought.
there are too many others fighting for attention.
But... I carry on.
even as my muse lies dying in my hands.
I carry on.
Such baneful words I spill forth.
Such a mangling of lyrical form.
The beauty of cynicism.
I fail to see it.
A wandering thought for wandering eyes.
A strayed eye for the loving man.
His heart, so easily ensnared.
Oh, woe.

Pounding precision perpetuated.
Closed chaos conglomerated.

Individual lights dance twixt columns of iron.
Forever bound, rhythm without song.

Acting as pages, an unseen emperor.
Playing each against another, rebellion stagnant.

Lost lights never to be free.
Until they burn in oblivion.
