Server History

In this topic, post your own telling of the history of our Minecraft server. We intend to compile them into one volume to place on the site.

It burnt down like twenty times and exploded

once upon a time there was a beautiful beautiful server full of magic epics and helicopter but one day when it was on its 3521435 iteration the signs of the apocalypse started to appear and one day there was lava everywhere and the server died once more

Once upon a time, there were heretical beasts of terror that horrified Stetson. And so, with fire and TNT, these awful beasts were purged.

One day there was a minecraft server. It was so wondrous, that the gods of olympus themseleves said that it was a boon to mankind. They gave us the key to eternal life which is-- Error: End of Stream.

In the land of Server, there once was an age of peace and calm, wherein Order prevailed and Creation took form. Though there were wars and acts of destruction, all had sworn their pickaxes to Order and Purpose. Wars were a tool in order to foster future growth.

Then rose from the depths an agent of Disorder, who did survey the lands of Order with a lustful eye. From his hands poured out thousands of blocks of explosives which did Undo the Order that had been enforced.

The people of Server had grown tired and their senses had dulled; the energy of youth had fled them. Disorder struck too swiftly for them to react, raining his Disorder and Destruction upon the server. From the heights of the Skybox to the Depths of the ocean, there was no land foreign to desecration. To America he had laid waste, and his dark deeds elsewhere caused deep wounds in the land of Server.

The people of Server were disheartened and sought to start their world anew - and this is where our written History and the Present coincide. Only time now knows the future of the denizens of Server.

One of these denizens came into the world after the previous server. This new land was one of forests and jungles, just to his liking. After a bit of trouble he established himself in the side of a hill and began building. At the moment things are peaceful but how long will it last?

Within the beautiful world of Richard butt a batman, time traveling snake ghost, a dragon knight, and a Cloud settled a small village in the Thunder Mountain. The batman declared he didn't care and started fishing in knee deep water like a boob. The dragon knight gathered fish and spent two week on the Kitty Jungle Island trying to tame ocelots. The snake ghost declared he had to study and wandering back and forth between time, supposedly studying. The Cloud yelled something about zombies and vanished for a while. A sea dweller settled in the distant and has a thing for pigs. His area has some bullshit long stupid name and no one cares.
The dragon knight eventually managed to set her lawn on fire and destroyed her tree and everyone laughed.

The Silver Knight entered the realm, being dropped unceremoniously into the water. After climbing himself up, he fought his way through monsters before meeting his nemesis, Murakumo 13. He avoided direct combat, as his sword had been lost in the warp, and then moved off to forge his base. Survival? After his existence on The Edge, surviving in this pathetic of a place would take almost no effort.

meanwhile the time traveling snake ghost made a wrong turn and got lost in a infinite loop, from the middle of the Apocalypse all the way to its end over and over again, there were baysplosion everywhere.

The Architect sat quietly, pondering the obscurities of the warp, casually deigning to examine this aspect of existence, or a particular law of physics. He looked back fondly upon the days he had spent constructing, before the world was cast into oblivion. Since then there had been only chaos.

He had cast himself into the multiverse, ignoring time and reason, creating without direction, exploring without a compass. Now he sat alone on a throne crafted from the forgotten thoughts of the world, forgotten in his languor.

He looked up as a world coalesced in the distance. It was tempting, to go and visit that place, to once again craft structures that would make the gods envious. But he had no motivation, at least he didn't until they began arriving. The first couple of familiars showed up without event, and were ignored. It was when Murakumo arrived that he took notice. That did not bode well for the world. The addition of the Silver Knight tipped the scales. Those two champions had waged combat across the multiverse since its inception, this would be interesting.

He began to descend, making preparations as he fell. There was so much to do, and so little time. For at the back of his mind, he had begun to worry. Whenever champions such as these gathered in one place, the Master of Debt was sure to follow. Of in the distance, a countdown to the destruction of the world began softly ticking.

The Cloud rose from the depths of the earth and settled on the ground like a fine mist. His eyes set to the sky looking, wanting. The warmth of the sun, the cool embrace of the moon, the freedom of the air, he yearned for it. The forces were gathering moving, shaping the world to their whim. They were coming together. Working toward a common goal even as the architect fell. Laying his plans, planting his seeds in his descent. The cloud saw him falling. Through the emptiness, and the warmth. Envious, but hopeful.
